- Device — Parent phone is not required to sign up for or use Sprint Family Locator. You can always just use the Sprint Family Locator web application.
Any web-enabled phone (including non-Sprint phones) can be used as a Sprint Family Locator Parent Phone. Simply point your mobile phone web (WAP) browser to http://sflmobile.com.
- Text Messaging — SMS plan is NOT required. All text messages sent to Parent Phones are included in the monthly subscription price.
- Data Plan — recommended if you plan to use the mobile web (WAP) application, but not required. Unlimited data plan is recommended for frequent use.
